What is it about?

Are you a building a tech startup and looking for financial and expert support? Get ready for the upcoming imec.istart open call.

The imec.istart program offers an initial financial injection (100,000 EUR up to 250,000 EUR in pre-seed funding), professional coaching and mentoring, access to technology and working facilities, and access to a broad network of partners and investors.

Since its launch in 2011, imec.istart helped more than 300 tech startups in diverse fields – ranging from multimedia and logistics to the healthcare sector – to develop into sustainable ventures.

What are the requirements?

  • be an early-stage startup with an innovative technology-based product (software or hardware) and a strong potential for growth.
  • have a working proof-of-concept ready
  • be a startup with at least 2 cofounders of which at least one person is working (or willing to commit) full-time on the project
  • foreign startups can be accepted but need a link with our region

The program is open to startups globally and selected startups get:
