Our e-traders switched to large-scale exports on 1 January 2021 as a result of Brexit. We use practical examples to discuss the concrete processes related to customs, VAT and logistics for B2C sales in the UK since its exit from the EU.

Brexit has brought many changes to e-commerce terms and conditions since 1 January 2021. Brussels e-traders who have switched to large-scale exports are now obliged to pay customs fees as they do for any country outside the European Union.

This workshop will allow you to learn about the new concepts of e-commerce and export since Brexit, from customs processes such as the use of the EORI (Economic Operators Registration and Identification) number necessary for tax declarations and authorisations to the VAT application, and the logistical requirements for B2C sales in the UK.

This workshop is organised by 1819 and its partners as part of the "E-commerce and export" thematic week from 3 to 7 October 2022. Free workshops will be offered, during which experts from the public and private sectors will guide you through the vast subject of e-commerce.
