Are you looking for a subsidy for your business?

PROJECT LEADER GRANTS

Since it’s usually a good idea to plan your business project before creating it rather than learning afterwards that the project wasn’t viable, the Brussels-Capital Region offers three pre-startup grants. The grants may be for you if you don’t have a company number yet.

The consultancy grant

You sometimes need to work with a consultant who is an expert in your field. The Brussels-Capital Region will pay up to 60% of your consultancy fees as long as the mission is for one of a dozen predefined fields.

Sometimes a company must comply with standards, a legal or administrative decision or a permit during its lifetime. Although these investments can be restrictive, your company can get support via grants

Grants for public highway works

Is work being done on the public highway in front of your business and traffic has been interrupted for at least 29 consecutive days? Noise, access difficulties, reduced visibility, nuisances make it difficult to patronise your business. Under certain conditions, the Region will grant a set compensation amount of up to €2,700 to micro-enterprises!

Grants to increase the appeal of a facade or renovate it

Works to increase the appeal of the shared façade of buildings more than 25 years old, two thirds at least of which are dedicated to housing, can be subsidised 30% to 85% depending on the zone and amounts set by the Brussels-Capital Region.

Do you want to provide your establishment with greater protection against theft and vandalism? Get a 40% grant to invest in the installation of a security system.

The investment grant

This is a grant to acquire a building or land, to buy equipment, to carry out work, to purchase a business, etc. The subsidy is intended for all Brussels-based SMEs, excluding sectors like finance, real estate, healthcare, education and non-profits.

THE “ZERO WASTE CATERING AND FOOD RETAIL BUSINESSES"

Thanks to this Call for projects, Bruxelles Environnement is supporting retailers who are committed, curious and willing to experiment with the implementation of zero-waste projects which will reduce packaging, containers and other single-use disposable accessories used in hospitality and food industries in the Brussels Region.

Other grants

The energy pack

The “Energy pack” is intended to support the implementation of concrete energy measures during the fitting out or renovation of buildings. Regardless of their current reflection or action phase, the project invites company heads and their employees to implement a number of different and growing energy measures to streamline energy management over the long-term.

GRANT TO CREATE A RETAILERS’ ASSOCIATION

The Brussels-Capital Region has developed the “Local & Together” call for projects to support local retail dynamics and strengthen the local retail fabric. It is intended to implement collective projects led by retailer associations and other local players within a specific retail area.
