Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre Danse

Wallonie-Bruxelles Théâtre Danse (WBTD) is the public agency providing support for the export of theatre, dance and circus creations from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

As a public promotion and export agency, WBTD advises artists in the performing arts about their export activities. If you require upstream advice on the structuring or financing of your project, other bodies can help you. WBTD also directs you towards the different support mechanisms available.
WBTD provides various services for artists and companies recognised by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation:
- Hosting of international schedulers during the season
- Calls for applications for the presentation of projects: From Brussels with love, Bons Baisers Cirque, etc.
- Organisation of the Objectif Danse Platform
- Organisation of prospecting missions, etc.
WBTD also offers financial assistance for a minimum of one session per year:
- Support for the creation and translation of promotional tools (graphic design, production, printing, distribution via brochure, teaser, website, etc.)
- Support with filming
- Support with translating shows and producing surtitles in a foreign language
WBTD also establishes partnerships to host international professionals on the occasion of various festivals (Propulse, Kunstenfestivaldesarts, La Piste aux Espoirs, Festival UP!, Unes fois d'un Soir, Noël au Théâtre, Export/Import, etc.).
Finally, WBTD wishes to promote the scheduling of shows originating from Brussels and Wallonia internationally and is always seeking international partnerships for the organisation of Focus FWB events.
WBTD is aimed both at artists and companies in the fields of theatre, dance and street arts who wish to export their work internationally, and at international producers and distributors interested in discovering the talents of artists from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
