What is it about?
Come and discover the photographic exhibition ‘Entrepreneurs of the world’, fruit of collaboration between microstart and hub.brussels, with portraits documented by Lies Engelen.
This exhibition travels throughout the year from one municipality to another, highlighting the inspiring careers of four Brussels entrepreneurs from immigrant backgrounds.
Since 2023, microstart and hub.brussels have been working together to help foreign nationals in Brussels make their entrepreneurial pursuits come to life.
Many of them are attracted by the prospect of setting up their own business. But all too often, people born abroad come up against obstacles such as lack of access to finance, insufficient information on Belgian regulations or uncertainty as to whether their ideas will actually come to fruition.
This initiative goes far beyond simply providing information: it creates real opportunities. Thanks to personalised support, tailored tools and access to microcredit offered by microstart, we are making the path to entrepreneurship more accessible and achievable.
